My full name is Carlos Enrique Rivera which is tailor-made for a telenovela character.
Fitting, since I love to write scripts.
Started my career at a tender age (undisclosed ;) in 1992 in Puerto Rico. Made my bones as an art director at JWT working Microsoft, Ford and Banco Popular. Through the years I’ve worked with many multinationals and local agencies such as Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, Grey, jmd, Arteaga & Arteaga, BBDO and FCB, among others.
While working in Puerto Rico, like Smaug, I’ve hoarded many precious metals ranging from local Zoom Media Awards and Cúspides, to New York Film Festivals.
I began working at LNC Houston in December 2013 and since then I've discovered a new passion in copywriting, which has evolved into another creative outlet: screenwriting. My first TV pilot reached semifinalist in Studio 32’s annual competition. (nice)
